These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services, websites, and applications provided by FlavorQuest ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all incorporated policies.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Age Restriction

By creating an account, accessing, or using the FlavorQuest platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the service. Access to and use of FlavorQuest is strictly limited to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction of residence. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and possess the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Medical & Health Disclaimer

The content provided on FlavorQuest, including but not limited to recipes, dietary plans, nutritional estimates, and cooking instructions, is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any nutritional or dietary information. You assume full responsibility and use recipes at your own risk. FlavorQuest disclaims any liability for adverse reactions, foodborne illnesses, allergic reactions, or other health consequences resulting from your consumption or preparation of food based on our content. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider regarding dietary restrictions, food allergies, or medical conditions.

3. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

FlavorQuest may offer premium features subject to recurring subscription fees. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your designated payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; however, such cancellation will only become effective at the end of your current billing cycle. FlavorQuest strictly enforces a no-refund policy. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial months or unused services, except where explicitly mandated by applicable local consumer protection laws. It is your responsibility to manage your subscription settings prior to the renewal date to avoid future charges.

4. User-Generated Content

Our platform may allow you to upload, post, or otherwise transmit content, including recipes, reviews, images, and comments ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content; however, you grant FlavorQuest a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform that User Content in connection with the service. You are solely responsible for the User Content you provide and affirm that it does not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party. FlavorQuest reserves the right, but is not obligated, to monitor, moderate, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if it violates these Terms or is otherwise deemed inappropriate.

5. Account Termination

FlavorQuest reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and your access to the platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination may include, but are not limited to, a breach of these Terms, suspected fraudulent or illegal activity, or non-payment of applicable fees. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability, shall remain in full force and effect.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall FlavorQuest, its affiliates, directors, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; (iii) any content obtained from the service; or (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content. In no event shall our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms exceed the amount you paid us, if any, during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Israel.
